Project MFG partners with area high schools, career & technical schools, and colleges to identify students with an interest in advanced manufacturing. This additive competition teams will be tasked with designing a slot car (approximate dimensions 4” x 2.5”) that will run on a race track provided by Project MFG. Teams will be asked to produce a drawing before the competition, then program and print their design during the allotted time for the competition. Teams will be judged on the quality of their design, the quality of the print, the printing time and their part’s performance in on-site tests.
