Project MFG’s Growing National Footprint
From Coast to Coast: Project MFG’s Growing National Footprint
Project MFG has always been about meeting students, educators, and industry partners where they are. This year, that mission is reaching more corners of the country than ever before. 2026 marks an exciting milestone as Project MFG hosts events across 18 states, reinforcing our commitment to bolstering American Manufacturing.
A Nationwide Presence
In 2026, Project MFG is proud to host events in:
- Kansas
- Utah
- Alabama
- Illinois
- Pennsylvania
- Virginia
- Missouri
- South Carolina
- Mississippi
- Nevada
- Texas
- West Virginia
- Hawaii
- Rhode Island
- Arizona
- Connecticut
- California
- Maine
From the Midwest to the South, the East Coast to the Pacific. This year’s event map highlights just how far Project MFG’s reach has grown.
New Ground, New Opportunities
A few locations stand out as especially meaningful additions to this year’s schedule. This states are West Virginia, California, and Maine. These events highlight Project MFG’s continued growth and expanding partnerships as we host an event at West Virginia University for the first time and collaborate with Workshops for Warriors for the first time, and Sanford Regional Technical Center.
These milestones represent an important step forward. New states mean expanding access to hands-on manufacturing education and exposing students across America to career pathways in manufacturing.
Hosting events in new states isn’t just about adding pins to a map. It’s about opening doors for students who may not have previously had access to Project MFG competitions, workshops, and industry connections. These first-time events represent new partnerships, new communities, and new opportunities to inspire the next generation of makers.
Building on a Strong Foundation
While West Virginia, California, and Maine are new additions, Project MFG has proudly returned to every other state on this year’s schedule. Our continued presence in Kansas, Utah, Alabama, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Missouri, South Carolina, Mississippi, Nevada, Texas, Hawaii, Rhode Island, and Connecticut reflects sustained demand and long-standing relationships with educators, schools, and industry partners.
Returning year after year shows more than consistency; it demonstrates growth. It signals that our programs are resonating, our impact is lasting, and our national footprint continues to strengthen.
Coast to Coast... and Growing
From island communities in Hawaii to manufacturing hubs across the Midwest, from the East Coast to California, our 2026 events truly span the country and illustrate Project MFG’s growing national footprint. This coast-to-coast presence underscores our mission to elevate advanced manufacturing education nationwide and ensure students everywhere can explore high-skill, high-demand career pathways.
As we look ahead, we’re energized by how far we’ve come, and even more excited about where we’re going next. With each new state, each returning community, and each event, Project MFG continues to expand its impact, one workshop, competition, and student at a time.
Stay tuned as we hit the road this year and bring Project MFG to classrooms, labs, and communities across the country!
