The Zeiss Academic Program
Alongside their high-quality products and excellent customer service, the ZEISS Academic Program offers programs that allow students to gain hands-on experience with ZEISS Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and other ZEISS metrology equipment.
ZEISS’ academic program is an excellent opportunity for institutions to develop an engaging metrology curriculum that prepares students for the precision measurement demands in the manufacturing industry. This program goes beyond theoretical knowledge by providing hands-on instruction with state-of-the-art inspection techniques. Participants deepen their understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) concepts, enhance their machining skills, and, most importantly, gain the essential knowledge and experience needed for successful careers as highly skilled professionals.
The program, launched in 2015, now supports over 175 colleges and universities nationwide, engaging more than 40,000 students and actively participating in numerous collegiate and academic events each year. It addresses the needs of both students and institutions with a comprehensive academic solution that includes discounted ZEISS metrology equipment, training, service and application support, student learning materials, free metrology software, and online resources.
