Can you believe it? The qualifying rounds for the National Welding League, Advanced Manufacturing League, and National Machining League are wrapping up soon. Teams are gearing up to submit their final projects for evaluation, and in just a couple of months, we’ll find out who’s moving on to the next rounds. Exciting times ahead!

Lycee Paul Cornu High School in Liseux, France
On November 5th, 5 schools from across Europe gathered at Lycee Paul Cornu High School in Lisieux, France to compete in an International CNC Machining competition. This 4-day event provided a platform for the teams to compete in a trophy machining contest, with evaluations based on the quality of their parts and their manufacturing process.
Maritime Welding
Tidewater Community College in Hampton Roads, Virginia
On November 19th, Project MFG and TMG’s Virginia Talent Pipeline Project (VA TPP) partnered with Tidewater Community College to host the Project MFG Maritime Welding Competition and Career Discovery. This event brought together 22 talented students from 7 local high schools and community and technical education (CTE) centers to showcase their precision, craftsmanship, and fabrication skills.
