From 205 competitors from 60 schools across 44 U.S. states and 2 Canadian provinces, to 16 of the most talented teams across the nation, and now only four remain. These standout teams have risen through the ranks with grit, innovation, and next-level skills, and now, they’re heading into the final round of the 2025 Clash of Trades Advanced Manufacturing Championship.
The competition is fierce, the pressure is on, and the energy is electric. These four teams have already proven themselves on a national level, but only one will walk away with the title.

The 2025 Providence Maritime Welding Competition brought together students, educators, and industry leaders to celebrate emerging talent and career pathways in maritime welding, with a focus on shipbuilding and submarines.
On May 12, Manchester Community College hosted the Project MFG Maritime Welding Competition and Career Discovery Event. It brought together 24 talented students from seven local schools to compete head-to-head.
This year’s competition series has been our biggest and most impactful yet, featuring over 172 high school students from 23 schools across seven states!
We’ve been getting ready all month, and it’s almost go time! In the first week of June, we’ll be in Big Rapids, Michigan, where 23 talented welders from all over the country will face off for the title of 2025 National Welding League Champion.
