Kicking off the 2025 advanced manufacturing
regional rounds

Regional 1: Midwest

Hosted at Ozark Technical Community College in Springfield, Illinois, the first three teams worked hard competing for a chance to secure a spot in the national championship!

Regional 2: Eastern

Hosted at Cape Fear Community College in Castle Hayne, North Carolina, seven more finalists battled it out, aiming to secure a spot in the top 4 and advance to the championship!

We’re hitting the road with our brand-new interactive skilled trades Go Trailer, traveling across the U.S. and “Racing to Fill the Manufacturing Skilled Trades Gap!”

The PROJECT MFG GO mobile learning trailer is all about spreading awareness of the amazing career opportunities in skilled trades. With hands-on demos and cutting-edge manufacturing tech, we’re showcasing what the future of the industry looks like!

We’ve got tons of exciting events lined up—follow us to see when the Go Trailer is rolling into a town near you! This initiative helps Project MFG highlight the skilled worker shortage, connect with local communities, recruit for competitions, and team up with companies that share our mission of strengthening the manufacturing workforce.

Additive Competition

Hosted at Rung for Women in St. Louis, Missouri

It was an exciting time as we partnered with the Additive Manufacturing Innovation Center in St. Louis to host an additive manufacturing competition for local high schoolers

Welding competition

Hosted at Southwestern Illinois College

At the beginning of the month, we had the chance to be a part of Southwestern Illinois College’s 2025 CTE showcase, where students from a variety of fields, including welding, nursing, carpentry, etc all from around St. Loui,s spent the day learning and testing their skills

2025 Welding Wars

Hosted at the University of Southern Idaho

We had a great time getting to support The College of Southern Idahos Welding Wars Competition for the 4th year in a row! This was a great year and we can’t wait for more to come.

Hawaii Maritime Competition

Hosted at the Hawaii Carpenters Apprenticeship and Training Center

No better way to wrap up the month than with a Maritime Welding competition in beautiful Kapolei, Hawaii

National Machining League Championship & Masters of CNC Competition

On the last day of March, we kicked off the First Annual National Machining League Championship! This year, we’re at Southwestern Illinois College’s brand-new advanced manufacturing facility, where 15 of the nation’s top high school machining students are putting their skills to the test—programming, machining, and competing for the title of the first-ever National Machining League Champion. Stay tuned next month to find out who takes home the crown!
