Season 4 of Clash of Trades Advanced Manufacturing is back, and this year was bigger and faster than ever! From 81 teams, down to 1! Our Clash of Trades series followed 16 teams as they competed in 3 regional cities across America for a spot in the Clash of Trades National Championship. This year, the championship was hosted at the Stewart-Haas Racing facility in Kannapolis, North Carolina.

As we wrap up the release of our season 4 Clash of Trades. Advanced Manufacturing series on Youtube, we couldn’t just stop there. Follow along as things heated up during our back to back welding championships hosted at Pennsylvania College of Technology
National Welding League
Prepare for another incredible Clash of Trades: Welding League Edition! This year was held at the Pennsylvania College of Technology and our host, Concetta Salvia is back to help us out! If you’re interested in a way to assess your students’ welding knowledge and challenge their skills, the Project MFG National Welding League is the perfect opportunity. Throughout the season, student competitors engage in project-based challenges that require them to demonstrate proficiency in various welding processes. These projects evaluate their capabilities in key areas such as fit-up, joint preparation, and the quality of the final weld. Here, at the end of the season, the top-performing participants for the year have the opportunity to compete head-to-head at the Project MFG National Welding Championship, where they compete for the national title and a grand prize of $10,000 in cash!
Maritime Welding
The Navy is completely transforming its nuclear-powered submarine fleet and needs an influx of skilled trades workers to build and maintain its critical undersea advantage. This requires the addition of 100,000+ skilled workers with the training and commitment to ensure success. Project MFG’s Maritime Welding competitions focus on industry needs and invites high-school students to participate in welding competitions to prove their skills, help industries identify skilled workers, and expose students to the many job opportunities available to them in the maritime industry. This year, the top 3 welders from each of our Maritime Welding competitions were invited to compete in a National Maritime Competition. The stakes were high, but they rose to the challenge! In the end, the winner walked away with $10,000! Watch our first ever Maritime Welding National Championship!
