Last week we had the honor of attending the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) which was a week long conference featuring some of the coolest and newest industrial machinery and technology!

IMTS is the largest Manufacturing Technology Convention in the Western Hemisphere. Organized by the Association for Manufacturing Technology, this week-long event brings together creators, builders, sellers, and drivers of manufacturing technology from various industries, including CNC machining, automation, robotics, additive software, inspection, and other transformative digital technologies.

This year Project MFG was part of the Student Summit section of IMTS and we got to see so many familiar faces! We had a blast and shared the space with many of our amazing sponsors including Haas Automation, Phillips HFO, Zeiss, the Gene Haas Foundation, Buildsubmarines.com, ACE, Mitutoyo, Reinshaw and many more!

We were incredibly grateful for the chance to bring Project MFG back to IMTS in Chicago. IMTS is a hub for innovation and collaboration, and we thoroughly enjoyed getting the chance to meet new people from all around the world & share our ‘More Than A Competition" message, emphasizing that our competitions not only assess skills but also build futures & cultivate the manufacturing leaders of tomorrow.

IMTS is like the Super Bowl of manufacturing and innovation, and we are so proud that Project MFG got to be a part of it again this year! It was such an amazing week of getting a closer look into what the future of manufacturing has in store and also showcasing that Project MFG is at the forefront of bringing American Manufacturing BACK to center stage and shaping the manufacturing leaders of tomorrow.

While we were there, we saw a variety of exhibits, and also got a glance into the newest and latest innovations the industry has to offer! This year was a huge success and we can’t wait to attend other IMTS events in the future!
