Logan, Utah – The 2025 Advanced Manufacturing Regional Rounds have officially concluded, bringing us one step closer to the highly anticipated National Championship—where one team will claim the $100,000 grand prize and the prestigious title of Clash of Trades Advanced Manufacturing Champions.

The third and final regional round took place in the Western Region at Bridgerland Technical College in Logan, Utah. This culminating event welcomed the remaining six finalist teams from across the country, including Calhoun Community College (Huntsville, Alabama; Everett Community College (Everett, Washington); Gallatin College Montana State University (Bozeman, Montana); Great Basin College (Elko, Nevada); Minnesota State College Southeast (Red Wing, Minnesota); Yuba College Manufacturing (Marysville, California)

It’s always exciting to welcome back familiar faces from past seasons while also meeting new teams experiencing a Project MFG Competition for the first time. One of those returning teams is Everett Community College, who made an impressive run to the National Championship last year, finishing in third place. This year, they’re back and determined to claim the title of 2025 Clash of Trades Advanced Manufacturing Champions.

"Coming back this year feels like we have unfinished business", said River Stormo of Everett Community College. "Since last season, we have some new members to the team and we are now more prepared, more focused, and more motivated than ever."

As with the previous two regionals, each team had two days to complete the challenge. Day one was dedicated to programming and 3D printing, laying the groundwork for the high-stakes, 8-hour machining competition on day two. The precision, speed, and teamwork displayed by all competitors truly showcased the spirit of modern manufacturing excellence.

“Being part of this competition for the first time was incredible, a first-time competitor. “You don’t realize how intense and rewarding it is until you’re in it. The energy, the pressure, and the camaraderie—it’s unlike anything else.”

As the final regional wraps up, all eyes now turn to the National Championship. The road has been long, but very soon, we will be announcing which four teams will advance to the Championship!
