The Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Center St. Louis (AMICSTL) and Project MFG successfully hosted a dynamic 3D printing and additive manufacturing competition, showcasing the talents of nine high school teams from across the St. Louis bi-state metro. The area competed and tested their skills in everything from design and economics to change orders, slicing, post-processing, and assembly.

St. Louis Welding Competition

Hosted by Southwestern Illinois College

Southwestern Illinois College hosted a Project MFG Welding Competition as part of its 2025 CTE Showcase. The event brought together local students from seven high schools, including Southwestern High School, Collinsville Area Vocational Center, Highland High School, Alton High School, Granite City High School, The CAVE, and O’Fallon High School. Students showcased their welding skills and competed for prizes

ACCS Students Crush Competition in Clash of Trades Championship

The 2024 Project MFG Clash of Trades Championship was more than a national competition – it was a showcase of skill, precision, and the future of American manufacturing. Calhoun Community College secured a first-place finish, while Central Alabama Community College claimed third, proving Alabama community colleges are a force on the national stage.

Missouri S&T Students Complete Round One in Project MFG Competition

Students from Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) have made a remarkable impression in the first round of the Project MFG Competition. The team, consisting of Sam Stewart, Darren Armfield, and Aniruddh (Ark) Kommareddy, successfully completed their tasks and have sent their parts for judging.
